We attended the same tertiary institution (he was a few years behind me), and during that period, he served with me successfully as a fellowship executive, displaying his commitment to the service of God and other people. In addition, for many years, outside of the tertiary institution, I was his youth pastor in the church. During that period, I observed that he had unique gifts and callings to teach and counsel young people about life issues and marriage. He has always been passionate about helping people make the right choices from a young age. In church, he was the president of the teenagers and youths groups for several years. Later, he became a teenage counsellor because of his integrity and leadership skills. He is approachable and available to answer the burning questions people always throw at him. “Mr Akhaze has played a vital role in my relationships for over eight years. He has encouraged and guided me in taking the proper steps and making the right choices in my relationships. On several occasions, he counselled me when I was at certain crossroads in my relationships and was confused about what steps to take. I recall that when my fiance proposed to me, I was unsure if he was God’s will for me or otherwise. Since I didn’t want to make a mistake, I was sceptical about going ahead with the relationship. Mr Akhaze gave me some good advice and counselled me to continue the relationship while watching out and praying for God’s revelation and conviction.
